Then we'd love to have you join the Public Sector Marketing team.The Marketing Manager is a critical part of our Public Sector Digital Experience Field Marketing team and will develop and implement innovative approaches to drive and accelerate pipeline in Adobe's Public Sector Digital Experience business. Reporting to the Head of Public Sector Marketing, you'll work on a team that leads the relationship with Public Sector Sales Leaders, acting as their "CMO."You will have the opportunity to represent the "whole of marketing" for our State and Local Government (SLG) segment, understanding and leading the strategy for a coordinated mix of field marketing programs to build and progress pipeline. The SLG Public Sector segment spans state, city and county government agencies in North America who are looking to use Adobe products to undergo a complete digital transformation. We're looking for a Marketing Manager understands every tool in a marketer's toolbox and work across Adobe's marketing COE teams to help your segment's sales team meets quarterly sales goals and grow Adobe's State and Public Sector business.What you'll doAct as a strategic business partner to Public Sector sales leadership and single point-of-contact for all things marketing.Build and influence a plan with an effective mix of marketing programs in support of business priorities for segment/vertical across digital, events and account-based initiatives.Collaborate with sales leadership and strategic partners to understand their goals and develop joint partner and field marketing initiatives, including account-based programs, to support pipeline and revenue generation and acceleration.Drive operational excellence throughout the business, connecting the dots, and making key decisions to help teams implement the marketing strategy. Plan while prioritizing the customer and segment needs.Partner and champion deep relationships with the Business Development Representative (BDR) organization to support business priorities and goals, while advocating for them within the marketing team.Understand market research, target audiences, competitor analysis, and market trends to inform marketing strategies.Develop and implement comprehensive field marketing plans aligned with overall marketing and sales objectives, including corporate and regional events, brand programs, and various direct and indirect campaigns.Establish relationships with key partners, including customers, vendors, distributors, service providers, technology alliances and resellers, to improve marketing opportunities and drive business growth.Own & deeply understand pipeline/bookings targets & attainment and be accountable for marketing's role in reaching those goals.Creatively collaborate with marketing centers of excellence (COEs) and sales teams to develop, implement, and steward strategies and tactics that create and cultivate pipeline for specific accounts and broader audiences.Required skills and experience:5 - 8 years of marketing experience working in B2B software and directly with Sales leadership in Field Marketing, Demand Generation, Business Development, or a related field.3 - 5 years' proven experience working with government and public sector required.Experience incorporating product and solution information into marketing content and experiences for Adobe-led and third-party conference sponsorships.Understanding public sector market, customer dynamics, and motivations to build outstanding integrated marketing plans, campaigns, marketing experiences, and successful customer journeys.Strong communicator with attention to detail. Listen and distill feedback and points of view from all levels of the organization. Able to incorporate product, sales and marketing strategies into a comprehensive marketing plan.Ability to partner with and influence team members and leaders across the organization whose input is critical to the success of your plans.Creative approach with a passion for getting results through innovative marketing approaches.Willingness to travel as needed to support field marketing initiatives.Experience working across a matrixed organization.Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, and Word.Ability to navigate CRM systems preferred.Ability to travel as needed for conference and events, likely 5-6 times a year.Ability to work hybrid in-office 3 days a week from a major Adobe office.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $100,100 -- $206,400 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
