You will be involved with understanding patient and consumer insights to develop and execute strategic marketing, brand, and development plans.What You'll Need:Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business or a related field

5-7 years of experience in corporate marketing, strategic planning or business development role

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Proficiency in CRM and sales tools

Location: hybrid eligible role. Must be willing to participate in regular on-site for meetings and events as needed in the La Crosse, WI area.

The Marketing Consultant will utilize patient and consumer insights to develop and execute strategic marketing, brand and development plans for Gundersen Health System. Under the leadership of the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Consultant will collaborate with market research, corporate communications, design, finance, affiliates, clinical and administration leadership, and outside agencies/vendors to identify essential consumer trends, market intelligence and business goals and be able to align the information with enterprise strategic priorities to develop high impact, insight-based market strategies. Marketing Consultant will utilize deep analytical thinking and curiosity of consumer, market and industry trends to provide broader, more meaningful context to recommendations that are actionable and measurable.Major Responsibilities1. Researches industries (healthcare and non-healthcare), markets, demographics, consumer segments, trends, sales results, and other data related to the organization and their target consumer. Creates detailed reports with research findings and analysis to inform marketing strategies.2. Understand and analyze data such as consumer segments, organizational business goals and revenue forecast, market share and out-migrations statistics, contribution margin per case, access and capacity, managed care reimbursements, payer mix, physician referral and leakage statistics, market growth projections, primary research, and competitive analysis. Presents findings and determines best practices on how to drive measurable impact to goals.3. Conducts opportunity analysis and apply insights into a strategic consumer marketing plan. This includes identifications of what sub-services to promote based on margins, access, and differentiation, as well as consumer interests.4. Achieve the business and marketing goals outlined, while being customer-driven in their marketing approach. Establish the process and plan fortracking return-on-objectives (ROO), as well as the financial conversation of those objectives into a ROI report. Reviews the strategic consumer marketing plan with theVP and Director for approval and maintains the marketing tracking/performance for regular review by VP and Senior Leadership.5. Develops strategic consumer marketing plan that focuses on targeting a specific set of customers, retaining them by meeting their needs, and using metrics to measure their satisfaction.6. Recommends specific marketing approaches and spending budgets to achieve desired goals. Works within budget to produce effective, cost conscious, promotional materials and advertising opportunities that drive results.7. After approval of the plan, the Marketing Consultant is responsible for coordinating execution efforts within the approved timeline and budget. The role shifts from strategic to account management, overseeing the development and production in coordination with marketing managers and communication, designand webteams, as well as regional services as appropriate.8. Establishes marketing tracking methods to help evaluate performance over time. Tracks engagement, goals, and ROI and adjusts marketing strategies based on findings.9. Provides written documents and verbal presentation for leadership and service line departments to guide the creating of consumer driven marketing plans and strategies.10. Adheres to regular and predictable attendance.1.
