Description
Objective
The Senior Graphic Designer supports the Marketing Services Department of the company and is responsible for creating high-quality creative materials for both print and digital media that meet all marketing objectives, including but not limited to advertisements, brochures, logos, multimedia art, videos, web design, email campaigns, and special projects as needed. The Senior Graphic Designer will also mentor junior designers and collaborate with the Marketing team to deliver high-quality visual content.
Functions:
• Design digital and print ads based on requirements for HREC and individual agents as needed
• Design Logos and Brand Identity Systems for HREC and agents • Design corporate and agent web content
• Perform updates to HUNT website, as needed (basic knowledge of HTML preferred)
• Create video content for HREC and ancillary companies, which can include: explainer videos for products and services, video templates for agents, and internal and external video announcements from executives
• Manipulate raw camera footage and audio to create a cohesive video
• Create and edit graphics such as transitional elements, text, subtitles, animations, and/or motion graphics
• Take into account different kinds of platforms and encode videos in several specifications and formats
• Strategize and come up with key images, ideas and concepts for various campaigns• Assist in the production and development of various corporate events and functions
• Provide Marketing Manager and Marketing Director with regular weekly project status updates
• Maintain expert knowledge of current software applications and hardware
• Keep accurate and up-to-date production time record
• Insure all work meets established corporate standards and deadlines
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or related field: Communication/Graphic Design
Experience Required:
- Proven graphic design experience with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience directly related to the duties listed above. Minimum of 2 years in a senior or lead role preferred.
Computer Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), and other relevant design tools.
- Experience with prepress protocol for print and digital media projects
Skills/Abilities:
- Thorough understanding of design and the ability to concept visual messages directed at a specific audience
- Expert Knowledge of typography, color theory and application of current design issues
- Expert Knowledge of various protocol for digital and offset printing - Knowledge of basic HTML preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a cooperative, collegial manner with other department personnel to accomplish departmental goals and objectives
- Extreme flexibility, ability to multi-task, switch gears quickly and reprioritize projects on the fly
- Ability and eagerness to work in a team environment
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music, and transitions
