The Sr. Manager, Marketing leads the day-to-day activities associated with implementing the agency's marketing and communication plans under the oversight of the Sr. Director, Enrollment & Marketing. Their objective is to establish goals and benchmarks throughout the campaign calendar, aligning with the Department's Fiscal Year projections. The Sr. Manager, Marketing oversees all campaigns across agency divisions, setting metrics and reporting to assess and refine these efforts. Key responsibilities include increasing brand awareness, managing vendors, monitoring brand guidelines, and promoting internal and external communication. Additionally, they plan and oversee marketing projects, analyze data, prepare presentations, and develop recommendations to enhance revenue and brand visibility, while leading a statewide team to meet the agency's marketing and communication needs.

Essential Job Functions:

Responsible for establishing an internal system of accountability and reporting to ensure successful marketing campaigns.Consolidate data and provide analysis of campaign success in accordance with historicalsManage and oversee vendorsAssess campaign spend and allocate in accordance with marketing strategyExecute the marketing plans, using a variety of modalities.Facilitate the implementation of brand guidelines to improve the effectiveness of brand identification and alignment.Oversee a variety of communications including, but not limited to website, socials, brochures, internal communications, marketing collateral, advertising and crisis communication. This includes writing, editing and proofreading content and overseeing distribution.Manage timing and content of communications in order to maximize outreach.Responsible for supporting various key Marketing initiatives designed to increase market awareness and brand recognitionManage and coordinate the creation of promotional materials and events to enhance the image of the agencySeek opportunities for local media coverageFacilitates Marketing and Communication collaboration groupsCollaborate with vendors on projects such as branding, marketing collateral, website design, social media, and recruitmentLead the selection of vendorsCollaborate with purchasing on other needed State approvals and submittalsSupervise staff members, assist with the creation of annual goals, in partnership with the Director, facilitate the annual performance reviews, and build a cohesive and mission-focused team of professionalsPerform additional duties as assignedTravel: 10-30%- Including two visits per year to meet with direct reports on-site at various locations.Qualifications:

Education

BA degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferredExperience

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marketingPreferred:

1-2 years of experience in managing othersExperience in child development or child focused non-profit is advantageousAdditional Qualifications:

Experience with Google Ads, Meta platforms and digital spend allocation/analyticsKnowledge of SEO best practicesKnowledge of reputation management best practicesWorking knowledge of website analytics and content managementDemonstrated knowledge of event planning, public relations and marketing principles and practicesDemonstrated skill in the use of PC/MAC desktop publishing and word processing, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative SuiteKnowledge of research methodology, interpreting results, and data analysisSuperb writing, editing and proofreading skills. Ability to write in a variety of stylesExperience in the direct management of staff in a goal-driven environmentExperience and comfort with facilitation of committee meetings, preparing presentations and speaking effectively in a variety of public forumDemonstrated ability to coordinate and manage a variety of tasks and deadlinesShift Type:

Full Time, Exempt, Hybrid (3 days per week onsite)

Compensation:

$89,052 - $133,578 annually
