Canadian Executive Search Group (USA) is currently seeking a Sr. Grant Writer for a Utilities client in the Orlando, FL area.Location: Orlando, FLSchedule: Full TimeCompensation: $68 per hourKey Responsibilities:
Experience with Utilities grants. Grant Proposal Development:• Collaborate with team members to gather information and insights necessary for proposal development.Proposal Writing:
Craft compelling grant proposals, ensuring alignment with the guidelines and requirements of each funding opportunity.• Tailor proposals to effectively communicate the organization's objectives, impact, and financial needs.Communication and Collaboration : Maintain open communication with internal teams to gather relevant information for proposals.• Collaborate with stakeholders, including program managers and leadership, to ensure grant applications align with organizational goals.• Effectively manage time to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of all grant-related activities, including proposal drafts, communications with funders, and submission details.Qualifications:
Proven experience in grant writing (utility industry), particularly in the technical or scientific field.Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.Ability to translate technical information into compelling narratives for grant applications.Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software for document formatting and collaboration. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., English, Technical Writing, Engineering) preferred.
