The Corporate Public Relations Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's public relations initiatives, managing media relations, and developing strategic communication plans. This role involves working closely with internal teams, including marketing, legal, and executive leadership, to ensure that all communication aligns with the company's goals and values.

Job Description

Develop PR Strategies:

Create and implement comprehensive public relations strategies that support the company's overall objectives and enhance its reputation in the marketplace.Media Relations:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers. Act as the primary point of contact for all media inquiries and manage press releases, media kits, and public statements.Crisis Management:

Develop and execute crisis communication plans to mitigate potential risks to the company's reputation. Serve as a spokesperson when necessary and manage the flow of information during crises.Content Creation:

Oversee the creation of compelling content, including press releases, speeches, blogs, social media posts, and other communication materials that reflect the company's voice and values.Event Management:

Plan and coordinate public events, such as press conferences, product launches, and community outreach programs, ensuring consistent messaging and positive media coverage.Internal Communications:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging across all channels and enhance employee engagement through internal communication strategies.Brand Management:

Work closely with the marketing team to maintain a consistent brand image and voice in all public-facing communications.Media Monitoring and Analysis:

Monitor media coverage and public perception, analyze PR campaign performance, and provide reports and recommendations to senior leadership.Budget Management:

Manage the PR budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maximizing the impact of PR activities.Team Leadership:

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.5-7 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a similar role, with a proven track record of managing PR campaigns.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling messages.Strong media relations skills and experience handling high-profile media interactions.Demonstrated ability to manage crisis situations effectively.Experience in event planning and management.Proficiency in PR and media monitoring tools.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Leadership skills with experience managing a team.

What's on Offer

Target compensation for the Corporate Public Relations Manager is $120,000 - $140,000 base salary.
