Job Description
Design and develop innovative packaging concepts that align with brand guidelines and appeal to our target audience.Collaborate closely with the marketing, product development, and production teams to ensure packaging designs are feasible, cost-effective, and meet all regulatory requirements.Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products.Create and refine product labels, including typography, imagery, and layout, ensuring consistency across all packaging materials.Work with external vendors and suppliers to oversee the production of packaging materials and ensure they meet design specifications.Ensure all packaging designs comply with relevant food safety and regulatory standards.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.1+ years of experience in graphic and packaging design within the CPG industry, preferably in the food sector.Strong portfolio showcasing packaging design work, particularly for food products.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant design software.Knowledge of printing processes, materials, and production techniques.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.This role is fully on-site. Any potential candidates must be in or willing to relocate to the West LA area
