This role is a contractor role to help while a team member is out on leave. The ideal candidate plays a critical role with the ownership and management of content marketing solutions. You would be required to create cross-channel content marketing strategies to enhance our brand presence, communicate our value proposition, support the sales process, and engage customers and travelers. The candidate will develop and manage a content calendar for defining and communicating our value proposition across various initiatives including the creation and management of all marketing content to drive our top business priorities. A successful candidate will be creative, strategic, results-driven, customer-focused, and have the ability to test new content generation tactics while creating and managing a content strategy that scales efficiently. The candidate will be based in the US alongside the global content team but will work across the business to deliver relevant, timely content for all marketing channels.

Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Business Administration or other related field.8+ years experience in content strategy and management with some experience in a leadership role preferably in a B2B vertical or agency setting with predominantly B2B clients.Demonstrated success with defining, implementing and optimizing a content strategy, including curating digital content.Experience building content strategies and communication plans tailored for cross functional initiatives, including research and thought leadership.Exceptional and effective writing, editing and message development skills that emphasize clear construction, grammar and relevant content (and content types) based on defined persona/end user, industry, segment, and market and aligned to strict and robust brand guidelines.High performing, high energy self-starter with a desire to join a high-performing and passionate marketing team.Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.Experience in the travel industry, financial services industry, or an institutional sales organization a plus.Experience using a workflow tool, such as Workfront, and/or a content management system a plus.Basic InDesign and Photoshop creation/editing capabilities a plus.Who you are: You are obsessed with content and understand how to use it to drive desired outcomes. You thrive in an environment where you get to work independently and bring your creative ideas forward, but you also enjoy partnering across the team.Design, and implement content marketing solutions across all marketing channels based on Client GBT's business objectives.Build marketing communication plans and strategies to support initiatives and manage the creative workflow process.Work closely with the Global Sales Enablement team to maintain alignment on priorities and messaging, effectively communicate to the Commercial teams, and partner on training initiatives as needed.Collaborate across departments, but especially with the other Marketing Strategists and the Commercial teams, to create engaging customer content globally.Liaise with organizational stakeholders to understand pain points, needs, challenges, etc and generate effective content.Offer strategic guidance around proposition, positioning and key selling points for each segment, vertical, service and capability.Partner closely with the global marketing teams to determine how the content and messaging for strategic initiatives fits into each of their marketing strategies (lead generation, customer engagement, traveler communications, etc).Manage the development and enhancement of sales and marketing collateral such as: fact sheets, sales presentations, webinars, videos, emails, articles, white papers, interactive tools, infographics, etc.Partner with/manage outside agencies and creatives for content creation as needed.Ensure all content and assets are on brand, compliance approved, and have a consistent voice and customer-focused message.Analyze data and customer insights to identify gaps and develop new content marketing strategies.Communicate effectively and ensure alignment with the global content team.Manage a small team of copywriters, ensure they are aligned to each projects strategy, and help set their priorities.Work with/inspire copywriters; roll up sleeves and write as well, as needed.Required Skills:Strong project management skills with the ability to independently juggle numerous projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines.Deep understanding of a B2B or B2B2C business model.Experience working with agencies to develop content and assets.Demonstrated track record of developing, implementing and measuring the impact of innovative, effective marketing communications and content strategies (media relations, social, analyst relations, thought leadership, campaign content) in a dynamic, high growth environment.Strategic thinker who quickly identifies and interprets information to create new marketing plans and assets with powerful messaging.Ability to analyze data and information based on buyer personas and create content strategies tailored for them.Relevant experience defining and managing the usage of compelling and on-brand content across various mediums.Interest in breaking the status quo and developing truly innovative content to differentiate Client GBT.Strong relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and external partners across all functions and levels.Proven experience leading change, influencing others and building consensus via collaboration across all functions and levels.Strong writing and/or editorial experience in developing sales assets.Ability to identify content gaps in overall marketing strategy.Strong analytical skills; ability to measure and effectively communicate campaign results; thinks in terms of and enjoys discussions of ROI.
