Discovery Education is looking for a

Senior SEO Analyst

to join our team. This role will focus on SEO for certain K-12 educational products owned by Discovery Education and sold directly to parents.

The Senior SEO Analyst will develop and execute SEO strategies focused on growing and converting qualified traffic to Discovery Education owned websites from organic search. To be successful in this role you'll need strong technical SEO skills, a thorough understanding of effective content strategies and the ability to collaborate across product, engineering and creative teams to ensure the successful integration of the SEO strategy.

In This Role You Will:

Build the strategy and roadmap from the ground upCollaborate with Product, Engineering, Designers and Content developers to create and implement SEO strategyLeverage analytics to identify and prioritize keyword opportunities that drive high intent/value organic search trafficLead content creation efforts to support improvement in rankings for important keywordsCreate and manage offsite/outreach efforts to improve domain authorityEnsure a high degree of technical optimization on our site(s) including but not limited to page speed, schema, and information architectureCreate robust reporting that highlights SEO progress, opportunity, and business impactMonitor algorithm updates and make changes to remain relevant and competitive in organic searchStay current with trends in SEO and educate the organization on what it takes to win in our spaceCore Competencies for Success:

You have a passion for education and the DE missionYou are willing to wear many hats and be a team player in a fast-paced environmentYou're a self-starter with the ability to prioritize and determine what needs to happen now vs what can be done laterYou can share real world examples of SEO projects that you have worked on that resulted in organic traffic growthYou're fluent in SEO KPIs and effective in communicating SEO progress to other teamsStrong analytical ability and comfort working with data to uncover opportunitiesFamiliarity with SEO tools including Ahrefs, SEMRush, SEO Clarity, MOZ and Screaming FrogCredentials and Experience:

Hands on experience with data and reporting tools including Excel, Google Analytics and Data Studio, Google Search Console and other toolsDemonstrated experience working with product, engineering, and design teams3+ years of experience in SEO with an agency or an in-house roleLegal right to work in the United StatesThis is a remote role.
