We are seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist who is eager to make an impact and learn new, creative ways to engage customers while driving incremental results. The overall team focuses on developing marketing strategies and executing core initiatives across Cox Automotive Retail brands to enhance client experience.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Client Experience marketing team.
  • Report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager of Client Experience.
  • Drive client engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty through innovative marketing strategies and business initiatives.
  • Support execution of events as needed.
  • Support Accounts Payable and PO Requisition
  • 10-15% of time will be dedicated to accounts payable function for the marketing team


General Marketing Support:

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver on marketing strategies and execute plans
  • Balance marketing execution projects with administrative and organizational tasks to ensure smooth team operations


Ensure We Are Tracking Against Business Goals:

  • Actively support and manage the identified marketing execution to ensure corporate objectives and deadlines are being met.
  • Helps to identify and execute the appropriate marketing tactics for specified objectives and strategies including advertising, collateral, public relations, direct marketing, digital marketing, SEM, social media, and other tactics as appropriate
  • Assist in editing online content updates using content management system as needed
  • Help across the team with competitive assessments in the marketplace (i.e what competitors are doing for marketing and communications across marketing vehicles online/offline)
  • Lead set up and ensure Internal meetings support
  • Manage marketing collateral and other requests

  • Gather / collate and merge marketing plans, calendar, and timelines
  • Gather / collate and merge marketing business results in a simplified, visual/impactful summary of business status - weekly, quarterly, annually

Who You Are

Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years of marketing experience. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years of experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years' experience in a related field.
  • Resourceful and proactive, thriving in a team environment while effectively managing time and projects to meet deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Adaptable in a fast-paced setting with competing and ever-changing tasks.
  • Energetic and positive, with the ability to work well independently.
  • Sense of urgency and strong work ethic.
  • Extremely professional demeanor with the ability to influence others.
  • Work calmly under multiple deadlines, getting things done ahead of time and anticipating team needs.
  • Work in a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Proficient with computer and technology skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Travel : 5%


Preferred

  • Experience in supporting sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Skilled in creating engaging and professional PowerPoint presentations.
  • Represent the company brand well and help others do the same, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $70,700.00 - $106,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
