Fullsteam is seeking a

User Experience (UX) Designer

with a passion for innovation and an admiration for user-centered design. The individual must have the drive and determination to define, implement, mandate and own usability standards, processes, and strategy across multiple products and teams. In collaboration with the Product and Engineering teams, the UX Designer will be responsible for gathering and evaluating user requirements, illustrating design ideas, as well as conduct training, competitive analysis, and user research. This opportunity requires a strategic thinker and problem solver, a person comfortable owning initiative and using data to drive their decisions, as well as an individual who is unafraid to push creative and digital boundaries.

Primary Responsibilities:

Define, implement and drive best practices for UX standards across teamsTranslate business goals and requirements into innovative and effective digital experiences for our customers.Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis via behavioral data research using internal tools.Conduct user interviews to understand problem areas for customers.Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.Evaluate our existing products against the industry to propose the next generation of our software experience.Develop mockups and prototypes that will illustrate design ideas and process flow to clients and internal staff.Examine the competition and identify areas for improvement and opportunities to lead the industry.Define and own UX standards and clearly document engineering guidelines.Invest in the quality of our products by owning experience testing and responsiveness across all devices. This will also include testing to find disparities between final implementation and mockups before release.Assist all business units with the development and improvement of all client centric assets.Skills & Competencies:

Material DesignData visualizations (a plus if experienced in D3)Behavioral data analysis tools (a plus if experienced with Pendo)Agile and communication tools such as Jira, Confluence, and SlackGraphic design, typography, and colorProduct walk-throughs and end-user documentationMinimum Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in UX DesignSkilled in responsive and adaptive design principlesProficient in web design and prototyping software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InVision, or similar)Hard-working, proactive, and self-motivatedStrong communication and organizational skills; must be comfortable presenting ideas to key stakeholders and advocating for the userKeen attention to detail and deep passion for consistencyCreative problem solver with a positive attitudeCollaborative, team player with an openness to new ideasAbility to manage multiple projects and day-to-day responsibilities with little oversight
