Marketing Manager - Front Store Shopper Experience Strategy (Contractor)

As Marketing Manager - Front Store Shopper Experience, you will play an important role as we create new and exciting experiences within our Client Pharmacy retail locations. In collaboration with cross functional teams, you will bring front store category/product and value driven strategies to life with a customer first approach.

You will be responsible for developing and executing clear and measurable store experience strategies and activation plans for high visibility merchandising programs, seasonal/event programs, and front store initiatives, primarily focused on our health/wellness, beauty/personal care and general merchandise/consumables categories. This role is critical in representing the consumer and helping her make confident choices at shelf, through established signing tactics, new form factor development, and more.

Primary Role and Responsibilities:• Lead and implement customer-focused front store shopper experience strategies utilizing the best tactics available inside the store environment while also innovating and creating new tactics to meet objectives• Drive the creative brief and development process, in partnership with Business Partners and Creative designers, to ensure we design and execute experiences that optimize consumer decision making and revenue• Leverage insights from a variety of internal and external data sources, outline key shopper journeys for these experiences, particularly outlining the decision-making points and pain points that our retail experience design needs to consider• Own end-to-end Compliance Signing process and tactics• Establish and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with key internal stakeholders, such as Insights and Analytics, Customer Experience, Front Store Marketing, Creative, Experience Design, Legal, Finance, and Operations• Help coordinate the printing and shipping of signage, including partnering with Print Procurement, completing print request forms, quote reviews, documentation, and submission for POs, checklist development, inventory management, and signage re-prints

Required Experience:• 5+ years of marketing experience with a foundation of business, retailer, and consumer understanding; retail marketing or retail agency/strategy experience strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications:• Self-motivated, high-capacity individual who can win in a demanding, performance-driven environment and make thoughtful decisions even when under tight deadlines• Excellent communication skills that can be effectively articulated in both written and oral forms across a diverse audience base• Proven track record of working collaboratively with internal and external business partners to deliver business results• Prior experience working with creative agencies- ability to provide strategic direction, feedback, and ensure creative is delivered on strategy• Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to question the status quo to drive improvements and optimizations• Strong familiarity with the in-store retail environment and a deep appreciation of end-to-end consumer shopping experience• Experience working in a highly matrixed organization• Strong PC knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Education• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience required.

Position Summary:

Expertise in business strategy, marketing measurement and reporting methods/tools with knowledge of retail loyalty programs. History of delivering results for Fortune 500 companies, able to work matrixed environment to get programs executed
