A large OEM is looking for a Labor Time Author to sit remotely. This individual will be responsible for building out time studies and sending them on to the authors for publishing in the Labor Time Guide. They will be assigned a program every morning and analyze it to see if anything needs to be fixed on the document. They will take a PDF, read, analyze, and build out the steps, and then input specific times into an Excel document. They need to be comfortable working in excel for 8 hours of the day; there is no hands on with the vehicle for this role. This individual needs to have awareness of different vehicle systems with an automotive background to be able to error proof documents and make sure they are accurate repair times.
