POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

$73,870 - $87,524Project Overview:The Department of the Army, The Army University has a requirement to provide turnkey classroom Sustainment and Technology, for technology refresh and sustainment of more than 300 Army classrooms. Classroom Technology and Sustainment requires classroom audiovisual and IT services-based solutions under which the contractor will be required to provide a full range of equipment and software associated with those services. In addition to equipment and software, classroom rehabilitation may be required prior to the installation of the technology to provide a total technology solution.Position Overview:The Classroom Audiovisual (AV) Designer will be responsible for the design and development of AV solutions for classrooms. The Classroom AV Designer specializes in designing and installing audiovisual systems.This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. If the contract is awarded, another position posting will be available on the Company Careers portal.Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):Design and develop AV solutions for classrooms, ensuring they meet user requirements and industry standards.Create detailed design documents, including diagrams, schematics, and bill of materials.Oversee the installation and configuration of AV systems.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AV systems.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Required Qualifications and Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in AV design and implementation.Certifications include Certified Technology Specialist - Designer (CTS-D), Certified Technology Specialist - Installer (CTS-I), Digital Media Certified - Designer (DMC-D), and AVIXA certification.Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.Proficiency with AV design software and tools.
