POSITION OVERVIEWdormakaba is seeking a Public Relations Manager either as a hybrid role based in Indianapolis, IN (North American Headquarters) or remote. The Public Relations Manager is responsible for strategic external communications and will manage complex issues, media relations, communications planning and collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders on a wide array of public relations initiatives, including crisis and reputation management.HIRING SALARY RANGE:

Base Salary

$105,000 - $115,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data) plus bonus. Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.WHAT YOU WILL DOBuild stakeholder trust and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve desired resultsDevelop effective communication tools including strategic plans, key messaging, research summaries/analysis, executive summaries, press releases, and presentationsQuickly assess risks and opportunities to provide strategic counselProactively drive and manage earned and paid media opportunities

WHAT WE REQUIRE7+ years of experience in public relations, agency or corporate communicationsBachelor's degree in organizational communications, public relations, journalism, or relevant field of studyPrior experience managing public relations issues with a deep understanding of how to use external communications to protect reputationExperience building and managing relationships with reporters/editors

WHAT WE PREFERExperience working in B2B and/or manufacturingExperience working with matrixed and/or global organizationsExperience managing vendors, including PR agenciesProficiency with Cision (or similar media database)
