Description

The Corporate Communications and PR Manager will be responsible for coordinating and supporting external and internal communication strategies for the organization. This role will serve as a conduit between corporate brand storytelling and employee engagement initiatives and will engage cross functionally to ensure messages are on brand, consistent, timely, and effective across our channels and platforms, as well as third-party outlets.Essential DutiesResearch, write, and edit high-quality, engaging, and brand-building content across various formats, including websites, collateral, press releases, social media, video, articles, and case studies.Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather insights and information for content creation on a range of topics, including corporate strategy, brand stories, employer branding, and employee engagement.Partner with designers to create visually appealing and engaging content.Use media monitoring and PRM tools to source appropriate outlets for company news and send pitches to relevant media contacts.Promote and reinforce Mirion's Mission and Values through storytelling.Create engaging and informative content to showcase employee stories and achievements.Maintain and update the Global Gateway, Mirion's intranet that houses procedures, and resources.Support internal communications as needed and agreed upon.Serve as administrator to the Community Portal, Mirion's internal communication platform.Monitor and update Mirion's profiles on Glassdoor and Indeed and respond to reviews in a timely and professional manner.Maintain a Corporate Communications calendar that encompasses both internal and external projects.Other duties as assigned.

Essential RequirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and platforms.Passion for storytelling and executing multichannel programs to augment company visibility.Experience in amplifying company news through pitching and media relations.Demonstrated experience in content creation for search engine optimization.High proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, emerging AI platforms (such as Synthesia and Writer) and media monitoring tools (such as Muckrack).Proficiency in AP Style writing.Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work remotely, independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Must be a resourceful self-starter, self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to multi-task.Strong editing skills.Project management skills with the ability to balance multiple deadlines while maintaining quality and consistency.Comfortable handling sensitive or confidential information and maintaining discretion until information can be shared widely.

Education & Experience RequirementsA bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field.Minimum 5 years' experience in communications, PR, journalism, marketing or related field.
