The Manufacturing Process Designer will focus on developing and updating manufacturing processes.Manufacturing Process Designer ResponsibilitiesAcquire a comprehensive understanding of the various processes needed for each assigned project, including but not limited to selecting appropriate machinery and developing a detailed process plan.Translate production methods from initial quotations to the part creation module within the ERP system.Optimize production efficiency by applying the most effective methods during part creation.Provide drafting assistance using computer-aided design (CAD) tools.Generate drafting documents based on notes, sketches, or blueprints provided by clients.Analyze and interpret designs and technical drawings accurately.Utilize multiple CAD software programs to develop 2D cut files for Water Jet, Laser, and Digital Cutter operations.Manage change control procedures related to customer technical data, ensuring proper documentation for future design and manufacturing activities.Keep document statuses organized across various platforms, such as Excel, Outlook, AutoCAD, and Adobe Acrobat.Facilitate the review and modification of company procedures, specifications, and documentation forms.Offer guidance and support as needed to team members involved in the document revision process.Ensure customer documentation is created, maintained, and disposed of in a manner that promotes efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Manufacturing Process Designer Requirements3-5+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.Associate degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent training.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and assembly drawings.A solid grounding in fundamental engineering principles.Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a high level of attention to detail.Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, adapt to changing needs, and work independently.Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.Self-motivated team player with a strong desire to learn quickly and take initiative in identifying customer and production requirements.Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and creatively solve moderately complex problems.Be the first to learn about future positions by joining our Newsletter and following us on LinkedIn!Konik is an equal opportunity employer.
