Please note that this position is based in either San Diego, CA. Acadia's hybrid model requires this role to work in our office three days per week on average.Responsible for leading, planning, and implementing the consumer marketing strategy and all patient-focused touch-points critical to commercial success of Nuplazid. Adept at using diverse elements of the marketing mix and to deliver an excellent patient and caregiver experience, from awareness to ongoing treatment.Primary Responsibilities:Strategic insight toward refinement of the Nuplazid overall marketing strategyLeading the development and implementation of an innovative, powerful multi-channel consumer marketing plan, from media and strategic partnerships to patient awareness, engagement, and activationDevelop breakthrough creative including video, digital, social, website, email/CRM and printLead refinement and expansion of robust, data-driven digital, social and mobile plan to engage and activate consumersSystematically develop and track metrics for media mix, consumer engagement and promotional effectiveness, while linking to the broader success metrics of the brandBuilding a seamless, lock-step partnership with critical partners such as corporate affairs, advocacy, and health-care professional marketingCross functional leadership to gain alignment in focus and timing with internal partners both strategically and tacticallyCoordinating and driving focused market research plans to generate insights further driving plan and creative optimization and performanceLead consumer KOL/influencer identification and relationship developmentLead patient / care partner ambassador strategy and executionLeadership of all consumer-related agencies to hold them accountable to the highest standards of performanceProactive management of marketing budgetOther responsibilities as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills:Bachelor's degree in marketing, healthcare, business administration or related field, MBA preferred. A minimum 12 years of progressively-responsible experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry within the Marketing arena including digital marketing experience required. A minimum 8 years of experience in a leadership role required. An equivalent combination of relevant education and applicable job experience may be considered. Healthcare Professional and Consumer Marketing experience preferred. Experience with celebrity marketing campaigns, with elements of both non-brand and branded preferred. Technical marketing competencies: Marketplace/consumer analysis and insight generation, consumer segmentation, brand positioning, brand sustainability (campaign/message platform development), execution excellence (multi-channel development and metric development/tracking), Multi-channel media plan development, including innovative digital, social, mobile initiativesPhysical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, see, talk or hear in a standard office environment and independently from remote locations. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Ability to travel by car or airplane independently overnight up to 50% of the time and work after hours if required by travel schedule or business issues.#LI-HYBRID#LI-MS1In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for discretionary bonus and equity awards based on factors such as individual and organizational performance. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance, and location.Salary Range $224,000-$279,900 USD
