Lifelong Access is seeking a Marketing Assistant to provide support to the marketing department through creation of marketing materials, community outreach, engagement with staff and individuals served, and photography and videography when needed. This position is responsible for social media posting and monitoring, website maintenance, and keeping records and marketing materials up to date. Come see why we love what we do!\ \ Pay: \$21-\$22 Per Hour\ Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)\ \ Primary responsibilities include:

Create, post, and monitor social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.Monitor trends in social media.Photograph staff, clients, and events and edit materials for marketing purposes.Coordinate and schedule videos, interviews, and photographs.Create marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, graphics, etc.Research, write, and collaborate on blog posts while maintaining Lifelong Access blog.Compile information for stories that will be shared on multiple platforms (i.e. monthly newsletter, articles for the website, etc.).Collect information, film, and create the weekly internal videos and monthly internal newsletters.Organize giveaways, creatives, and displays for tabling events.Work with other departments to update and maintain website.Represent Lifelong Access in the community, including attending networking events and tabled events.Draft and edit various communications, such as reports, presentations, and press releases for a variety of audiences.Promote brand awareness through consistent messaging and outreach.Assist with event advertising, preparation, day of help, and post-event wrap up, which may include nights and/or weekends.Occasionally assist with event planning and coordination for non-fundraising events.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in business, marketing, communications or related field, or equivalent and relevant work experienceExperience and strong aptitude working with social media requiredPrevious marketing agency or nonprofit experience strongly preferredEngaging hands-on professional with effective written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills, detailed, problem solver with high ethical standardsProficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and OutlookExperience in Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud preferredExperience with graphic design preferredValid Illinois drivers license with safe driving recordCurrent proof of automobile insurance

Working Conditions \ While performing the duties of this job, the employee will typically work in an office setting, except when assigned to off-site projects, events and/or community engagement activity. Due to the unique functions of events and community engagement responsibilities, evening and weekend hours will occasionally be required.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate when in the office setting.\ \ Physical Requirements: \ The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential functions of this job.
