Introduction to Role:Join AstraZeneca as an Associate Director of Brand Communications and become an instrumental part of solidifying AstraZeneca’s vision to understand and improve the lives of the communities we look to serve. This pivotal role involves developing and delivering comprehensive communication strategies, engaging with senior collaborators and positioning AstraZeneca as a leader in the chronic cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic (CVRM) conditions space.Accountabilities:As an Associate Director, you will craft and implement communication strategies, including brand landmarks, data presentations, campaigns, and internal communications. You will collaborate with Executive Directors and leadership teams to drive thought leadership and ensure alignment across US and Global Corporate Affairs. You will also work with teams across Commercial, Market Access, Government Affairs, Compliance and Medical Affairs to ensure cohesive and compliant communications. Additionally, you will partner with Advocacy and Policy Leads on patient and non-profit group engagement and effectively manage a budget to support objectives.Essential Skills/Experience:3+ years communications experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals or related industry

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Ability to think critically, ask thoughtful questions and offer solutions

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines and multitask

Open-mindedness, curiosity & ability to think about problems in a new way

Bachelor’s degree

Desirable Skills/Experience:Direct experience working in cardiovascular, renal and/or metabolic disease area(s)

Understanding of the regulatory environment, compliance framework

Exposure or project work in US Public Health Policy
