Salary:

Competitive base compensation + Book of Business bonus

Hours of work:

Hours of work are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. However, that does not preclude you from taking work home or staying at the office later to finish particular projects or be available after standard business hours for client needs.

Position Detail - Digital Marketing Executive

Location : Hybrid at our Cincinnati, OH location or fully remote

Requirements For Position

The Digital Marketing Executive position leads digital marketing initiatives for our valued B2B clients at Helium SEO. This person leads client communications, strategy development, and project management to deliver exceptional results while fostering strong client relationships.

You will partner with internal teams to leverage specialized expertise when needed to create client strategies.

This individual continually evaluates and improves upon marketing processes and opportunities. Has developed a strong understanding/grasp of Helium SEO's service offerings. Has very strong client relationship skills. Has proactively brought the client's ideas beyond the scope of what was requested. Has delivered operational solutions to improve internal processes. Has a track record of owning the team's deliverables and maintaining a high-quality standard.

Understands the nuances of communication with clients and has demonstrated emerging internal and external (agency partner) collaboration skills.

Daily Responsibilities:

Core Skills

Leads all client communications, including regular strategy meetings and performance reviewsDevelops and executes digital marketing strategies for a portfolio of B2B clientsPrepares and delivers appropriate presentations on SEO, SEM, and CRO services over the phone and via video callsAnalyzes complex data and translates insights into actionable strategies for clientsIdentifies and pursues opportunities for account growth and upsellingManages project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure optimal performance using ClickUpCollaborates with internal teams to leverage specialized expertiseStays current with industry trends and continuously enhances marketing skills

Client Exposure

Serves as primary day-to-day client contact for digital marketing initiativesContribute to new business efforts as needed, including contacting sales leads through discovery callsNegotiates/closes deals with the support of the sales teamEnsures campaign budgets are pacing and aligned with billing

Prior Experience & Expectations:

2+ years of experience in marketing account management, digital marketing experience preferredStrong background in managing B2B client relationships and driving account successExceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detailConfident, engaging communication styleGrace under pressure and ability to effectively address client concernsSales experienceHistory of being a leader, either at work or in another capacityAbility to thrive in both autonomous and collaborative work environmentsWorking knowledge of WordPress, basic HTML, and digital marketing platforms (e.g., Ahrefs, Moz, SEMRush, Google Analytics, Google Ads)Relevant industry certifications are a plus
