Position SummaryMAG is seeking a talented and creative Graphics Artist to support our proposal development and marketing teams. This role involves creating visually engaging graphics and layouts that enhance the clarity and impact of our proposals. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear and aesthetically appealing visual elements.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborate with proposal managers, technical writers, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and produce graphics for proposals, corporate presentations, social media, and other related documents.

Develop conceptual diagrams, infographics, and layouts that align with the project’s themes and messaging.

Ensure consistency and adherence to brand standards across all visual materials.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of all graphic components within the proposal schedule.

Participate in proposal/marketing strategy sessions to understand the project requirements and contribute creative ideas.

Update and maintain a library of proposal/marketing graphics, templates, and other visual assets.

Review and revise graphics based on feedback from proposal/marketing teams and clients.

Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and design trends to continuously improve the quality of proposal/marketing visuals.

Digitally prepares Word, PowerPoint, .PDF, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign files/artwork for both print production and electronic delivery to meet customer specifications.

Understand and be comfortable using file formats such as (JPEG, TIFF. EPS, PDF, PNG, PSD, AI, INDD)

RequirementsMinimum Requirements

Knowledge and Skills

Multimedia design experience in a defense contracting environment desired; Familiarity with Government RFP processes and compliance requirements is preferred.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Acrobat Pro)

Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in English spelling and the use of proper grammar

Skilled in proofreading

Detail oriented graphically and in written content.

Strong understanding of layout, typography, and color theory.

Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.

Has efficient graphic concept formulation skills and must be proficient in all Adobe Creative Suite programs.

Can excel in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with multiple projects and deadlines.

Is detail-oriented, a self-starter, and has strong organizational skills and the ability to create production-ready graphics and publications.

Education and Experience

3-5 years of relevant work experience in graphic design, preferably in a proposal or technical writing environment

2+ years of relevant work experience supporting proposals for U.S. Government solicitations is desired
