SUMMARY OF DUTIESCreates communications media and advertising materials for Marketing & Sales. Writes copy for promotions, direct mailings, and advertising of Merit's products.
Job Summary: As a Senior Marketing Communications Manager, you will be responsible for creating messaging strategies and marketing campaigns to promote Merit products, tradeshows, and education events. You will work closely with product management, product marketing, and sales teams to launch new products and ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSDevelop and manage marketing campaigns,Write copy for social media, video scripts, and other marketing materials.Manage vendor relationships and projects including graphic design, web development, and advertising.Create and send email marketing campaigns to leads, customers, and internal stakeholders.Manage tradeshow booths, including setup, booth coverage, and teardown.Coordinate with Marketing Services to ensure timely shipment of materials.Learn and become proficient in medical device products and procedures.SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.Minimum of three years of Marketing Communications experience.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well as a team member.COMPETENCIESDigital Marketing skills, including social media and email marketing.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Experience with design and video editing tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred.Experience with social media management platforms such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social preferred.ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS* Lifting -- Not to exceed 50 lbs. -- local practice may apply.* Writing* Sitting* Standing* Bending* Vision* Color perception* Depth perception* Reading* Field of vision/peripheral* Fine motor skillsCOMMENTSInfectious Control Risk Category III:The risk category explains whether or not employees are likely to comeAs an eligible Merit employee, you can expect the following:* Multiple Shifts and Hours to choose from: Days, Swing (Eve), and Nights* Medical/Dental & Other Insurances (eligible the first of month after 30 days)* Low Cost Onsite Medical Clinic* Two (2) Onsite Cafeterias* Employee Garden | Gardening Classes* 3 Weeks' Vacation | 1 Week Sick-Time | Paid Holidays* 401K | Health Savings AccountTo see more on our culture, go to www.merit.com/careers.Military Veterans are encouraged to Apply.Merit is a proud Utah Patriot Partner committed to hiring our Veterans.
