You will support communications across various cross-functional business areas, developing and executing on plans and delivering clear content, in conjunction with the broader corporate comms and marketing teams.

In this role, you will:Collaborate across departments and functions to create balanced and effective communications plans, then write and deliver clear information internally and to our field, ecosystem, customer and public audiences.Manage communications projects, plans and content for ongoing programs, specific announcements, in support of events and more. Write content that engages and enables audiences with a clear voice and call to action regarding Avaya strategy, differentiators, programs, solutions, success stories, etc.In addition, you'll learn our back-end communications tools and processes, and manage reporting and assessment of results/effectiveness to measure progress toward objectives and identify and act on areas for improvement.

•How the position fits within the organizationYou'll report into the Strategic and Integrated Communications team, which includes Internal Communications, Sales and Partner Communications, Executive and Strategic Messaging functions. Within our team, you will work closely with our Internal and Sale and Partner Communications functions, as well as Executive Communications, Public Relations and Influencer Relations, and our Solutions Marketing and Events teams.

About You

What can you bring?

•Previous experience & knowledge

Direct business experience and success writing in internal communications, corporate communications/public relations, marcomms or related roles.Understanding of business communications industry and large enterprise customers highly preferred.Experience managing and working collaboratively on ongoing programs, cross-functional projects, and various digital media.Proven success in managing multiple communications projects simultaneously and delivering with quality on tight deadlines.

•Hard & technical Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office applicationsComfortable working in content management systems and communications platform toolsExperience leveraging Generative AI tools in the writing processExposure to project management systems like Monday.com

•Soft skills & personality Traits

An adept storyteller who can cut through complexity for compelling, concise, action-oriented messages. Adept at tailoring communications to the needs of specific audiences.A team player: cross-group collaboration skills and ability to coordinate across all levels and stakeholders.Highly proactive, organized, agile and detail-oriented. You can prioritize and manage needs across a variety of projects and inputs to deliver on planned deadlines while also accommodating late-breaking needs.Qualifications, certifications, education or alternative expectedBA/BS in Journalism, English, Marketing or Communications and 5+ years of experience in a relevant industry.

Compensation

The pay range for this opportunity is from $94,100 to $127,100 + performance-related bonus + benefitsThis range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance.
