DESIGNER OF EVENTS - OVERVIEW:

Are you passionate about bringing sport-specific projects to life through innovative design? You will play a pivotal role in every phase of our projects, from initial design development to seamless implementation. Your expertise in the realm of the built environment and various aspects of environmental design will be a valuable asset. You'll also bring a deep familiarity with the various facets of the print production process and materials/fabrication techniques to the table. You'll work hand in hand with fellow designers, project managers and clients to drive projects from conception to completion.

Elevate Creative designs branded environments that enhance the holistic fan experience. The studio creates comprehensive design solutions for the world's most attended sporting venues and events-ranging from brand activation, signage systems, environmental graphics, and partner integration. Our role is to ensure the best product and experience for the audience-be that a student-athlete, a donor or corporate partner, a team or league, or of course the dedicated fans. At our core, we follow a distinctive and all-encompassing approach to project development, and we expect our ideal candidate to fully embrace the intricacies and underlying principles of this approach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Work collaboratively with the project team on a day-to-day basis to oversee a project from conceptual through implementationCreate holistic design solutions at various scales across multiple venues such as stadiums/arenas/hotels, building wraps, street banners, temporary signage, etc.Develop programming strategies for messaging and signage elements within a graphic systemCreate style guides and standards to be shared with third-party partnersQUALIFICATIONS:

A. Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, and/or a portfolio that reflects stronggraphic abilitiesExperience with built environments/familiarity with Environmental Graphic Design3-5 years of professional experienceExperience working with multiple project teams and clientsExperience reading, interpreting, and working with architectural plans and construction documentsB. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesignHas a strong conceptual eye and is able to evolve ideas and concepts and implement unique solutions into a graphic systemAbility to take ownership of any phase of the design processExcellent communication skills-both verbal and writtenComfortable working in scale, familiarity with CAD toolsCan quickly generate ideas and concepts and is able to clearly and concisely articulate thinking both internally and client-facingThe ability to take feedback and implement in an effective/efficient mannerThe ability to work on multiple projects in multiple phases-working with the design team, project leadership team, as well as the ability to communicate with fabrication partners/printers as neededPrint Production experience: creating print-ready files, color selection and refinement, etc.Knowledge of Fabrication methods and materials is a plusExcellent communication skills and the ability to support and lead projects throughout the entirety of the processStrong conceptual, typographic, visual communication and problem-solving skillsProactive, capable of both independent and collaborative work, and views teamwork as a vital assetProficient in essential soft skills such as self-awareness, accountability, adaptability, and a high degree of emotional intelligencePOSITION AND BENEFITS DETAILS:
