OVERVIEW:

The Junior Art Director will play a critical role in executing design work for high-level marketing campaigns, ensuring that the creative output aligns with the brand's standards of excellence. This hands-on position requires a designer with a sharp eye for detail, a strong understanding of design principles, and the ability to elevate the work of a team. In addition to creating visually compelling content, the Junior Art Director will be responsible for quality control (QC) of design deliverables and mentoring a team of graphic designers, fostering their growth and skill development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Campaign Execution: Collaborate with the Art Director and marketing team to conceptualize and execute design work for high-impact marketing campaigns, ensuring all creative aligns with brand standards and campaign objectives.Quality Control: Oversee the QC process for design work produced by the team, meticulously reviewing all creative assets to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality, consistency, and brand alignment.Team Mentorship: Act as a mentor to a team of graphic designers, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance their skills, and encouraging creative growth within the team.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and product development, to ensure cohesive and impactful visual communication across all channels.Innovation & Trends: Stay current with design trends, tools, and techniques, and bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table that can elevate the brand's creative output.Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and refinement of design processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and the overall quality of creative work.QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.Experience: 5+ years of experience in a graphic design role, with a portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of design principles and successful execution of marketing campaigns.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools. Experience with motion graphics and video editing software is a plus.Creative Vision: Strong conceptual thinking and an ability to translate ideas into compelling visual designs.Attention to Detail: Meticulous eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.Leadership: Ability to guide, inspire, and mentor a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and feedback clearly and effectively.

This position is full-time, in-house located in Marysville, Ohio
