As part of the Digital Product Platform group here in Portland, Oregon, we work with internal engineering groups and external vendors to build new technologies for Jaguar Land Rover's future vehicle product lines. What you will be doing:Own discussions and strategies that facilitate collaboration with global teams from product, engineering, and designDefine and present user experiences and concepts to stakeholders that champion the best possible user experienceWork collaboratively with other products to ensure holistic, human-centered UXGuide UX and non-UX teams through design activities-across a variety of modalities and use cases-to establish and refine our digital product visionTake an active role in working closely with product owners and discipline leads to define product requirementsDefine and promote standard design principles and ways of workingWork closely with UX research team to understand user behaviors and needsMentor other UX team membersPerform other duties as assignedWhat you will need:
5+ years of experience with a strong portfolio that demonstrates leadership in user experience, product, or interaction design across multiple touchpoints and modalitiesExperience leading a team of designers and researchers to solve complex problemsExperience with Agile and scrum methodologies that deliver into software development lifecycleExperience with DesignOps and/or design systems within the human-centered design processCapable of building and maintaining strong relationships while advocating for meaningful improvements to our customer experiencesResourceful, conscientious, and self-motivatedExcellent collaboration, observational, interpersonal, and communication skills alongside the desire and ability to see things from multiple perspectivesAdditional preferred qualifications
Experience with UX research, both qualitative and quantitative methodologiesExperience working in the automotive industryOffers of employment are conditional upon the results of a background investigation.
