We have an exciting opportunity to join Warwick Hotels and Resorts as Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, based out of our Warwick Denver location. As Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, you will perform a vital role within our operation and be a key driver of our success.

The ideal candidate for Regional Director of Sales and Marketing will have at least three years of Director of Sales and Marketing experience within a full service hotel environment in hotels of similar size and caliber. Experience in each stage of sourcing, qualifying, booking, and seeing through to completion for all business sources, including Banquet and Catering business, will be very important. Essential duties include, but are not limited to:Demonstrate and promote the best possible experience for our guests and employees.Perform as the driver of all revenue and ensure quarterly and annual revenue goals are achieved for the hotels in the region.Develop sales action plans, and forecast and evaluate trends to modify strategies that will enhance revenues effectively.Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships, with a service-oriented approach.Research, understand, and keep yourself up-to-date with industry and local competitive landscape knowledge. This includes information about citywide events or other large group bookings which may affect the hotel.Positively manage or influence the local sales teams and all sales and marketing efforts.Show a desire to continually drive new business in a creative manner, never settling for less than our targeted goals. To succeed in this position, you must be “hungry” for the success of the hotels within the region.This position will report to the Senior Vice President.

Qualifications

A minimum of three year in a Director of Sales and Marketing role within a full service hotel environment.Experience managing and motivating other Sales team members as direct reports.A true desire to satisfy the needs of others.Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.Possess excellent presentation, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.Computer literacy to include, but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to comprehend, read, write and speak English fluently.
