Overview:
We're looking for a professional proofreader-editor, who will ensure the accuracy and quality of written content across multiple formats, including print ads, digital campaigns, social media posts, scripts, and more.
This role requires an expert eye for detail, a strong command of the English language, and an understanding of brand advertising. The ideal candidate will collaborate with copywriters, designers, and account managers to ensure consistency and excellence in all deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:Proofread and review content to eliminate spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors.Ensure consistency in terminology, branding, and style across all materials.Collaborate with creative teams to enhance clarity and effectiveness in messaging.Fact-check content for accuracy and compliance with legal standards, as well as client preferences.Maintain and update internal style guides and proofreading checklists.Mentor junior proofreaders and advise on best practices.Manage multiple projects, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.Senior living and/or health care experience preferred3+ years of proofreading experience, ideally in an advertising or creative environment.Exceptional English language skills and attention to detail.Familiarity with AP Style or similar guides.Ability to meet deadlines in a sometimes fast-paced environment.Benefits
