K2M Design is seeking an experienced Senior Proposal Writer with specific expertise in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry to lead our proposal development efforts and secure new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of crafting compelling, persuasive proposals for complex architectural and engineering projects.

Position Mission:
As a Senior Proposal Writer, you will lead the entire proposal development process, from initial strategy to final submission. Your advanced writing and editing skills will be essential in translating complex technical information into clear, persuasive narratives that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences. A strong grasp of AEC industry knowledge is vital, as you'll be collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to accurately represent our capabilities and innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
(subject to change, modification as needed) are as follows, but not limited to:
Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, from initial strategy to final submission, focusing on AEC industry-specific requirementsCollaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and other subject matter experts to gather information and develop winning contentWrite, edit, and proofread proposal sections, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with client requirements in the AEC sectorManage proposal timelines and coordinate team efforts to meet deadlinesDevelop and maintain proposal templates, boilerplate content, and best practices specific to architectural and engineering servicesAssist Subject Matter Experts in the creation, writing, editing, and publishing of industry white papers and blogs.Assist and/or lead in the creation of internal and external written content to be used for marketing, on the website, social media campaigns, marketing brochures, and pamphlets.We are looking for positive contributors to our culture , that are passionate about meeting the demanding needs of our clients, and add value and impact through expertise - all in turn contributing to the growth of K2M.

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Architecture, or related field5+ years of experience in proposal writing, specifically in the AEC industry or with Architectural Design ServicesAPMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) certification, a plusKnowledge of AEC industry trends, terminology, and project delivery methodsExceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearlyStrong project management abilities and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe InDesign, requiredAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrated success in winning AEC contracts through effective proposal writingFamiliarity with government contracting processes for architectural and engineering servicesExperience in responding to RFPs, RFQs, SF330s, and similar solicitations in the AEC industry
