Job Title: Public Relations SpecialistLocation: RemoteDuration: 6+ Months contract

In your role as Public Relations/Social Media Specialist, you'll be responsible for increasing our visibility and trust among consumers through targeted public relations efforts. You'll work with the Communications team and agency partners to execute corporate communications campaigns and initiatives.

Responsibilities include:Identify areas of commercial news interest based on news cycles and trendsManage incoming media requests and triage appropriatelyGenerate media listsWork with associate director, corporate social media to build content calendar and identify opportunities for both external and internal engagementSocial media monitoringCollaborate closely with external agency partners to pursue appropriate opportunitiesManage calendar summarizing campaigns, activities, interviews, and content

Candidate Profile1-3 years of B2B and/or healthcare industry communications/social media experienceExceptional aptitude shaping an effective message and telling a compelling storyHighly collaborative team playerFlexibility and energy to confidently adapt to changing circumstances and prioritiesIntellectual curiosity to see and explore new possibilities, and creatively problem solve A self-starter with a can-do/entrepreneurial, impact-driven, and accountable mindsetStrong communication skills that facilitate clear and effective information sharingBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism preferred
