This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, experienced Interior Designer with a commercial office background to join a fast-growing team.The Interior Design position is responsible for producing quality, cutting-edge commercial office interior design projects. The Interior Designer will ensure the drawings and designs are completed on time and adhere to the established specifications, drawing standards and code compliance. They may prepare project schedules, bids, or proposals. This position relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

This position will handle a variety of sized projects and can span all activities of supporting a project.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.

Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.Create attractive designs and layouts for various projectsAttend client meetings with the Sales Consultants, gathering information for successful design solution, leading portions of the conversation sharing expertise and knowledgeField verification and measurement of site conditionsCommunicate effectively with client, vendors and team in order to address client's needsPrepare presentations (3D, 2D, mock-ups and renderings) for clientsCreate quotes for clients and ensure full workflow is followedMaintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevantMaintain vendor contact information for pricing updates and new product updatesMaintain knowledge of changes to product environment, product competition, and product discountingUphold the company’s core values and brand standards to ensure a strong brand presence for all marketing deliverablePerform other duties required by supervisorREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Graduate of a four-year program or equivalent work experience with a two-year degree in Interior Design2-5 years Dealership experiencePreferred experience in using furniture specifying softwareProficiency in using AutoCAD, Microsoft Office programs, Adobe and CAP 2020Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate among a wide variety of audiencesAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environmentMust be comfortable working in groups and participating in cross-functional teams towards a common goalTravel as necessaryPossession of a valid NC driver licenseAbility to pass the company background and Motor Vehicle Report and the company drug testing requirements.
