Terri Ricci Interiors is a high-end residential interior design firm located in the Westport/Norwalk, CT area. We are looking for a Senior Interior Designer with at least 5 years of experience to work full-time on projects both locally as well as in destination locations in the luxury design space.

The person in this role role will work directly with the principal and will be involved in all aspects of a project. Experience with ground up construction from the architecture phase through installation of at least 4 major projects is a requirement.

Please note that junior level designers will not be considered and that this is not a remote position.

Responsibilities:

Manage multiple projects at once from design to procurement to installation

Manage junior designers and/or assistants

Develop conceptual image boards

Source materials

Create FF&E schedules and specifications

Create and manage client budgets

Liaise with architects, clients, and vendors as required

Drawing required – floor plans, furniture layouts, elevations, custom furniture. 3D modeling a plus.

Qualifications:

AutoCAD, Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Photoshop proficiency required

Studio Designer and 3D software a plus

At least 5 years of experience managing high-end residential projects

Have good sense of style with a refined eye and a strong knowledge of resources and vintage furniture

Must be detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to be assertive

Must have a sense of humor and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that can be ambiguous and demanding at times

Must have a reliable car with a valid driver’s license

Must be willing to travel occasionally to project destinations such as Aspen, Martha’s Vineyard, and Palm Beach

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
