The Social Media Content Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, creating engaging and shareable content across platforms. This role requires expertise in social media management, content creation, video editing, and graphics that all align with our brand’s goals. This role will partner with key internal and external team members to create engaging, high-quality content on our platforms regularly and consistently against a strategic editorial calendar. Our ideal candidate needs to have strong communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills to define the right priorities.Key Responsibilities:Lead the global social media content strategy for the business with a focus on delivery and growth metrics, aligned with company goals and target audience needs.Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales to understand audience personas, industry trends, and customer pain points to inform content creation.Manage a team to develop and maintain a content capture calendar (that fuels our editorial calendar) and ensure transparency, for consistent and timely content delivery across various platforms.Collaborate with Creative Director to package a unified social media visual and verbal system that follows our brand standards in a social-first manner.Manage social designer(s), writer(s), editor(s), producer(s), and other collaborators to efficiently deliver a consistent stream of multi-media content.Monitor content performance metrics, analyze data, and provide insights to refine content strategies and improve engagement.Strategize, package, shape and present compelling narratives that resonate with our customers to build our brand.Autonomous creation of short-form stories across various earned and owned channels.Partner with the PR team to build engaging content that supports PR and Communication’s efforts.Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies and content marketing best practices.Establish an influential voice in shaping the growth of the Silversea brand, becoming the ‘go-to’ person for all organic content.Enable go-to-market team members to leverage content to engage prospective customers in their cadences.Provide weekly reporting and status updates to supervisor and executives when applicable.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, and/or related field experience.Years of experience:5+ years’ experience in content marketing and/or social media roleEssential qualifications and skills:Experience creating and directing multi-media content production for social media, website, email and/or more.Comfortable crafting written, design and video content.Experience shooting short-form social content on iPhone or DSLR camera ensuring lighting, sound, and camera angles are premium.Ability to work at a rapid pace, delivering multiple, varied edits throughout the week.Hyper-organized and comfortable wrangling resources, timelines, technology, and people to accomplish objectives.Hold yourself to the highest standard of excellence in all aspects of your work.Ability to rapidly gain an in-depth knowledge of Silversea products and competitors.Global outlook.Positive approach to problem solving through analytical thinking and operational efficacy.Strong sense of ownership and accountability.Understanding of consumer, product, brand, and competitive research.Strong critical decision-making and excellent communication skills.Cross-functional leadership expertise in a fast-paced and complex environment.Self-starter with ability to maintain poise when dealing with ambiguity.Experience creating and managing detailed timelines.Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite Products.Physical demands and working conditions and environment:

The position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting or pushing up to 25 pounds. Requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines such as computers, printers and telephones. Requires flexibility to work occasional overtime, evening hours and weekends. Works in a typical office environment with moderate noise generated by telephone conversations, computer, printer, copier and light traffic.
