About the role
Position OverviewWe are a 40 year company focused on producing high-end audio systems for home and commercial applications. Our software team is growing, and we are in need of a DSP Engineer with a background in Audio Digital Signal Processing specifically.This role is hybrid / remote, and pay is between 130k-184k depending on experience and before bonus/benefits.The Digital Signal Processing Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing signal processing algorithms for various digital systems. This role will play a crucial role in the development of cutting-edge technology and will require strong technical expertise in C or C++, and ideally have worked with DSP algorithms and tools like gstreamer.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement signal processing algorithms for digital systemsOptimize algorithms for efficient performanceCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into software and hardware systemsConduct thorough testing and debugging of algorithmsMaintain and update existing algorithms as neededStay updated on industry trends and advancements in signal processing
QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field3+ years of experience in digital signal processingIdeally strong proficiency in GStreamer, C, and C++Familiarity with FPGA and ASIC designExperience with DSP tools and programming languagesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentStrong communication and collaboration skills
