You will provide strategic input, tactical planning and direction on assigned accounts. Have direct management responsibilities: oversees junior account staff to implement plans, and profitable manner. Develop positive, lasting client relationships.This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in-office each week. You will report to the SVP, Group Account Director.Your Impact:Agency Operations

Promote the process and develop tactical plans.Finances: Forecast budgets based on accurate estimating and tracking of hours, out-of-pocket expenses, and reconciliation against estimates.Knowledge of contract and its possible effects.Knowledge of all basic financial tools necessary to account managementUse experience and judgment to solve for potential problems before they get too big.Solve client issues and influence management decisionsTeam Leadership: Takes on wider, informal leadership responsibilities within the agencyManagement: team leader, provides direction & feedback to junior account staffKnowledge

Deep, expert understanding of the therapeutic category, the audience and at least two channels. Basic knowledge of at least one other category, and another audienceBe a point of authority and source of advice for therapeutic areaEnsure team adherence to agency process.Identify issues and lead problem resolutionStrategy

Vision: Develops goals(e.g. marketing/ brand platform briefs).Planning: High-level analysis of category, research, and competitive data.Analyze and extract findings/issues from all available marketing data.Active in strategic development.Tactics and Execution

Develop marketing, lead the agency process, develop tactical plans, including budgets and timelinesProduction: Manages the production of client-approved marketing toolsCreative: Collaborate on creative brief developmentAssume responsibility for the writing and preparation of marketing communications plansPHCG Offerings: Basic knowledge of PHCG businesses, offerings, and toolsClient Relationship

Build trusting relationships with client counterparts. Is seen as strategic, necessary to the account, and offering added value.Relationship: Frequent, positive client contact with clientsBrand Champion: Ensures everyone focused on brand strategy and positioning: client, account team, and other internal departmentsAgency Champion: Understands and advocates the agency POVPresentations: Ensure the client is kept informed on all account activity: this includes ultimate responsibility for ensuring that appropriate written reports are delivered quickly.Present complex data or messages to clientsLead role in ensuring accurate client correspondence

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree requiredMBA, Masters in Marketing or related disciplineExperience in healthcare communications environment5+ years experience in an integrated agencyOpen to travel

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
