Santa Monica, CAYour MissionAs a Finance Manager you will handle the Call of Duty marketing budget. This will be a complex and highly visible position that will involve strategy and financial analysis. The role will be a key business partner to the Head of Call of Duty Marketing, and provide finance support to the entire Activision Publishing organization, supporting the iconic first-person shooter Call of Duty franchises (which includes the storied Modern Warfare, Black Ops and Warzone).This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Santa Monica, CA.What you providePriorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:Support marketing planning and strategy efforts to help deliver the next wave of blockbuster titlesSupport business planning efforts (annual and long-range planning)Support the quarterly forecast with a focus on accurate forecasting and variance analysis to provide business understandingBecome a leader with vision/partner to drive the evolution of our marketing priorities and organization with Call of Duty leadershipP&L Management with an eye towards influencing long-term investments, driving cost savings and identifying efficiencies.Assist with the execution of launch & seasonal marketing plansPartner with HR to monitor hiring trends and ensure teams are adequately supportedDrive process improvement across core finance and business processesHelp with other ad-hoc projects that arise in this fast paced, ever-changing industryOur team is lean, multifaceted, and focused - which means you will have real responsibility and the opportunity to have high impact in one of the top tier companies in the interactive entertainment space. Strong financial acumen and eye for business, a desire to continually improve, attention to detail, timely follow-through, adaptability, and the ability to effectively manage against multiple priorities are keys to success in this role.Minimum RequirementsExperience:Five (5) or more years of validated experience in marketing finance, strategy, FP&A, brand finance, or related areaStrong personal presence and communication to work across finance, marketing and executive leadership in pursuit of business goalsStrong analytical and critical thinking; ability to communicate sophisticated concepts at a high level to executive leadershipValidated ability to work at multiple altitudes, from high-level projects to detailed engagement analysisStrong proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint and financial management toolsStrong finance, business insight and general analytical skillsSelf-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field (advanced degree or certification a plus)Extra PointsExperience within a gaming, entertainment or technology industry is preferredKnowledge of important marketing metrics, audience segmentation, and advertising value chain is a plusHigh energy; passion for games is a plusYour PlatformWe’re headquartered in Santa Monica, California, housing multiple teams across many disciplines of Marketing, PR, Sales, Supply Chain and other corporate functions such as HR, IT, Legal, Facilities and Finance. .In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $87,480.00 - $161,910.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location.
