We’re excited to work with designers who see technology as a tool to help people tackle real-world problems.As a Production Designer, you'll craft, refine, and implement cohesive design components across our desktop, mobile, and laser design systems. The ideal candidate brings a keen eye for detail, a passion for creating scalable design solutions, and a talent for translating complex design concepts into user-friendly Figma components. You thrive on consistency and efficiency, finding satisfaction in creating systems that empower other designers and developers. At our company, you'll have the opportunity to shape the foundation of our digital experiences, ensuring a unified and intuitive interface across all our products. This 3-month contract role offers the chance to make a lasting impact on our design ecosystem, with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance.We request that you submit a presentation (Keynote, PDF or Figma preferred) of 1-2 examples of your work, along with any passion projects, that you feel represent you as a designer. We’d love to learn how you think about product design and make decisions – from the experience of using a product to its look and feel, the craft behind it, and the trade-offs you made to ship.What You Might DoBuild out Figma components and librariesContribute to craft and quality by scaling and refining existing designsEnsure consistency across experiences and surfacesDevelop usage guidelinesCollaborate with engineers to implement scalable design patternsEssential Qualifications5+ years experience designing, prototyping, and shipping digital productsDeep experience building and maintaining design systems in FigmaAn eye for detail and organizationSome experience prototyping with tools such as Figma, Origami, Protopie, Play, etc.Excellent communication and storytelling skillsStrong foundation in classical and user-centered design principles, including visual design and typographyComfortable with ambiguityPreferred SkillsExperience with interaction design and UI animation principlesUnderstanding of design accessibility guidelinesWorking with engineers on implementing a design system with a high degree of craft and qualityIllustration, iconography and typography systemsUsing and experimenting with AI technologies like LLMs, Stable Diffusion/Midjourney/ComfyUI, etc.Hourly Rate Range: $72 - $94/hrCompensation & Benefits (Full-Time Employees)The salary range for this role is listed above.
