OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES:

CBS Media Ventures (CMV), a division of Paramount, is hiring a Vice President, Western Regional Manager of Domestic Sales. We are the leading distributor of premium first run, library and off-network content across broadcast and multicast platforms in the US. CMV's portfolio is comprised of the world's most recognized brands including Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Entertainment Tonight, Inside Edition, The Drew Barrymore Show, Judge Judy, Dr. Phil, Hot Bench, 48 Hours, and The Neighborhood.

The Vice President will be responsible for distributing CMV content throughout the western region of the US and service leading broadcasting companies located within the region. The role will prioritize monetizing through distribution our best in class, first run, library and off content vs. revenue targets. Are you up for the challenge?

Based in Los Angeles and reports directly to the Head of Sales.

Therole requires four days in office as well as domestic travel .

- Handle the targeted first run, library, and off net content of available programs as assigned by the Head of Sales.

- Maintain strong knowledge of Paramount, CBS and Viacom content libraries.

- Present and offer content to buyers as assigned and confirm internal deal approvals.

- Review sales history and clearances.

- Negotiate and close content licensing deals across 50+ broadcast DMA markets.

- Ensure deals are properly documented and all agreements are fully serviced, delivered, contracted and that account receivables remain current.

- Prepare data and analytical models for historical sales and research projects.

- Proactive market evaluation, research, and sales strategy support.

- Budget planning and forecasting for designated content.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:- 10 years' of experience in broadcast entertainment sales

- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

- A working knowledge of FAST, AVOD, SVOD licensing

- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and intermediate Excel skills (formulas and data analysis/manipulation)

- Willingness and ability to travel

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to self-manage and multi-task, prioritize and handle time efficiently to meet deadlines

- Interest in content, the entertainment industry and loves watching and talking about television

- Familiar with a variety of industry concepts, deal terms and properties

- Bachelor's degree

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $200,000.00 - 230,000.00.The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.This position is bonus eligible.
