Creating mobile app interactions with 60fps gestures.Building delightful animations with just the right amount of bounce and easing.Brainstorming and prototyping new interactions with the design team.Building pixel-perfect user interfaces for iOS and Android devices.What we're looking for in you
You take pride in your craftsmanship and delivering delightful experiences to users.You qualify as an interaction designer but have the ability to bring your ideas to life.You have a great feel for how animations should feel, and fiddle with decimal values around acceleration, velocity, and deceleration.You understand gesture recognizers inside and out.You understand one programming language deeply.Preferred Qualifications
3+ years experience building mobile applications in either React Native or Swift.1+ years shipping production-quality gestures and/or animations in mobile apps.Product design background is a bonus.Benefits & Perks
This position will be fully remote, and we are accepting candidates based out of the following states: California, Oregon, Washington, or New York.401k and health insurance.Unlimited PTO.Regular game-time to play virtual games and company hangouts.Company-sponsored fantasy leagues with real prizes.Sleeper believes in quality over quantity, and intentionally keeps our team small as a result. In past roles, our team members found it very hard to make a big impact when companies grow too large in size, which has a detrimental effect on the product and the impact any single individual can have. Our team includes designers, engineers, product experts, and finance & operation focused on one thing — connecting people over sports. We believe in fair and equitable pay.For this role, a reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for new hires is $140,000 to $240,000.Please note that the compensation range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
