The Associate RCC Marketing Promotions Director is responsible for developing and leading RCC promotional efforts to craft and execute tactics in support of brand strategy.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the development of US marketing tactical plans for existing and potential new indications of Cabozantinib in RCC cancersEnsure successful execution of compelling promotional tactics for US HCPs across personal and non-personal channelsConsult with Ex-US & US partner organizations to review & align on promotional message execution as appropriateAlign messaging platform and tactical rollout with brand objectives and strategiesEnsure key brand messages and materials are effectively communicated at sales meetingsSupport management of the promotions budget, establish goals and metrics, and measure performanceCollaborate effectively with cross-functional partners, including field sales, sales training, market planning, and regulatory/complianceCollaborate with the Payer Sales Team to develop promotional materials targeting the managed care audienceManage key vendor relationships, including the promotional agency of recordFoster trust and a strong culture across the broader marketing and sales teams and with partners throughout the organizationEnsure compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies that govern Exelixis conductEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

Education:Master's degree in related discipline and 13 years of related experience; orBS/BA degree in related discipline and at least 11 years of related experience; orEquivalent combination of education and experienceExperience:Experience in product marketing, field sales, or market research/analysis in the pharmaceutical or biotech industriesPharmaceutical MarketingPatient Marketing, advocacy relations, public relations, digital marketing and sales experiences are a plusOncology experience is strongly preferredKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Effective prioritization of activitiesAbility to effectively collaborate with multiple organizational stakeholdersTalent for blending innovation with pragmatic executionSkills to network internally and externallyAbility to draw insight from market research, the sales force, and other sources to optimize messaging, tactical plans, and promotional activitiesDemonstrated strategic thinking, initiative and creativityProven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding financial and/or other quantitative targets, as well as qualitative goalsStrong presentation, verbal and written communication skillsUnderstanding of FDA Regulations of pharmaceutical drug promotions and experience with Legal, Medical and Regulatory review processesBusiness travel is requiredJob Complexity:
