Store Designer

Are you a Store Designer local to the Chicago area looking for an opportunity to work with a major beverage company?Our client is looking for a talented Store Designer to create new store concepts and enhancements to the existing store portfolio that supports varied customer need states and points of distribution. This role involves architectural design, collaboration with industrial, graphic design, and environmental disciplines, as well as management of various design projects and operations in retail or restaurant design. A working knowledge of Revit and 2-3 years of experience is required.Team culture/work environment:Cross-functional team working with others in design management.Key projects:Daily Responsibilities:Management of various design projects and operations in retail or restaurant design.Working knowledge of CAD drafting using Revit.Supporting the current designers.Documentation management.Overseeing the store design projects.Candidate Requirements:Years of experience required: 2-3 years for hybrid, potentially 3-5 years for remote.Degrees or certifications required:Degree from an accredited architectural/design school.Proficiency in Revit.Familiarity with InDesign.Sketchup (optional).Inscape (optional).Required background and skills:Working knowledge of architecture and interior design.Experience in schematic drawing.Experience as a creative designer.Basic knowledge of building systems.Quick learner and organized.Able to pivot quickly and work under ambiguity.Independent thinker with extensive knowledge of design spaces in both interior and architecture.Attention to detail in completed work.The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45-$50/hour. Compensation is based on several factors including education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
