Job Summary:

The Senior Marketing Automation Specialist will join the Surescripts Marketing team to play a crucial role in facilitating our transition from our current marketing automation platform to Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The Senior Marketing Automation Specialist (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) will help implement and integrate our marketing automation platforms with our Salesforce CRM and other marketing technologies. In addition, the Senior Marketing Automation will support our email marketing efforts.Responsibilities:

Manage the transition to our new marketing automation platform, ensuring a smooth migration of data and functionality.Manage the administration and configuration of our marketing automation platform, ensuring appropriate user access and successful email deliveries.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (such as Sales) to gather requirements and implement solutions that leverage marketing automation.Monitor and troubleshoot database issues, including automated data syncs, ad-hoc imports, and data extensions.Maintain and organize lists and assets within the marketing automation platform for easy customization and use in email campaigns.Integrate our marketing automation platform with our CRM and other marketing tools to ensure data consistency and workflow efficiency.Research and resolve system errors.Develop and maintain automated marketing campaigns, journeys, lead scoring, and personalized customer experiences within the marketing automation platform.Work with internal stakeholders to design, develop, test and deploy solutions including dashboards, interfaces, and integrations.Create and manage analytic dashboards within the marketing automation platform.Monitor and optimize email deliverability, engagement metrics, and campaign performance.Provide training and support to marketing team on marketing automation usage and best practices.Provide support to the Sr. Interactive Marketing Specialist on email marketing campaigns.Ensure email and nurture programs (Journey Builder) adhere to industry best practices and deliverability standards, and personalization.Understand and document data processes and flows between operational databases, marketing database, and CRM system.Manage or oversee lead upload process and data hygiene best practices to ensure data quality.Provide support for other marketing technology as needed.Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Analyst or have worked in a role using Salesforce Marketing Cloud with a proven track record of successful implementations and integrations.Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionalities such as Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Audience Builder.Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM and its integration capabilities with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other marketing technologies (e.g., On24, Demandbase, Highspot, Qualtrics, Zift, Google Analytics, etc).Experience in managing complex data environments and ensuring data integrity across platforms.Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to Salesforce Marketing Cloud configurations and integrations.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (such as Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Marketing Cloud Administrator) are preferred.Proven HTML, CSS, and AMP script experience.Preferred Qualifications:

Strong business acumen to quickly learn new business processes and understand how broader technology needs to support marketing's role in achieving revenue and profit goals.Confidence in debugging and solutioning challenges during complex implementations.Experience with agile methodologies within tools such as Aha, JIRA, or Confluence.Knowledge of Google Analytics and experience with GA integration with Marketing Cloud.Familiarity with MarTech tools such as Demandbase, On24, Zift, Highspot, Qualtrics.Keywords:

At Surescripts, base pay is one part of our Total Rewards Package (which may also include bonus, benefits etc.) and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this position is $96,650 - $118,150 per year. Your base pay may vary within or outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including (but not limited to) your qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
