What You’ll Do

The Vice President of Marketing will design, develop and implement a world-class Advertising program for Rio Las Vegas, ensuring a compelling and consistent story across many dynamic marketing platforms.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following

Designs and implements marketing strategies to promote engagement, acquisition, and retention across all communication channels.Selects, trains and supervises the Brand and Studio Team employees.Assists Chief Marketing Officer in developing and managing departmental budgets.Partners with CRM, Hotel and Casino Marketing to design and implement strategies to maximize revenue and expand property loyalty programs.Oversees management of advertising campaigns, promotions, signage, collateral, video and photography products.Supervises outside advertising agency, ensuring the appropriate execution of media and marketing plans.Works closely with all property departments to coordinate revenue strategies, on-site marketing activities and communication plans.Develops and executes brand activation strategies that invigorate the casino floor and drive visitation from non-hotel guests.Primary marketing contact for all partners and leased outlets.Works with both external and internal resources to ensure all brand standards are upheld.Leads in the creation and execution of on and off-property promotions and activations.Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures.Supervisory Responsibilities

This position directly oversees the Marketing division.

Requirements

Minimum six to eight years of experience in marketing, advertising or sales with progressing supervisory experience.Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one, small group, and large group settings.Ability to write effective letters, memos, speeches, and articles for publication.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex of documents, such as technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from employees at all levels, guests, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.At least 21 years of age.Preferred

BA in Business, Marketing, or related fields.CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.Physical Requirements

Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.Must regularly lift and/move up to 20 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke.PAY RANGE
