Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future.The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Lead Solutions Marketing Manager to drive the creation and delivery of unique market positioning and sales enablement for our segment-oriented activities around business outcome messaging. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a life-long approach to learning, self-motivated, and has a collaborative nature that works with multiple resources to identify and develop valuable messaging that will drive engaging content. The Solutions Marketing Manager is expected to be a content marketing expert within the segment (mid-market, large enterprise, or public sector) space. The candidate will leverage their understanding of the customer and market Lumen to craft unique messaging, produce customer-facing content, and sales enablement pieces to support campaigns and external promotion of Lumen. This is a highly collaborative role working with cross-functional teams across the organization including Commercial enablement, Creative and brand, Corporate Communications, Analyst Relations, as well as the Sales Organization.Main ResponsibilitiesDesign impactful marketing strategies to drive profitable revenues.Develop and execute sales enablement plans to ensure sales understanding at various technical levels.Create content for sales enablement and marketing activation that generates qualified leads.Compose content and manage the building of external marketing assets including brochures, case studies, customer presentations, newsletters, websites, blogs, and other social media.Partner with marketing teams to drive the messaging in premium content such as infographics, white-board videos, webinars, and other lead-gen campaign activities.What We Look For in a CandidateBachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or related field in the communication and technology disciplines.6-10 years of experience in a solutions or product marketing, sales enablement, product management, or related role in the Technology field/market.A deep understanding of telecommunications solutions and the competitive space within them.Advanced communication and listening skills to interact with and work with a wide range of people and functions within the marketing disciplines including database, IT, product, channel, advertising, and analyst relations.Direct B2B marketing experience with solid knowledge of marketing tactics.Strong writing and strategic thinking skills.A great attitude - willingness to learn new skills, take initiative, and collaborate across teams.Aptitude to quickly come up to speed on new technology concepts. Passion to evangelize disruptive new technologies.Ability to react to frequent changes in duties and volume of work.Comfortable accepting responsibility for medium to large scale projects involving multiple resources and spanning many months from start to finish.Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities.The ability to write compelling marketing copy targeting identified business personas is a plus for the candidate seeking this position.CompensationThe starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location.
