The Assistant Marketing Manager is responsible for aiding the strategic selling and execution of Neiman Marcus (NM) omni-channel holistic marketing and co-op campaigns. This position supports the Senior Marketing Manager/Marketing Manager to assist in internal and external client service, campaign execution, invoicing, forecasting, and campaign reporting.

The Assistant Manager interacts daily with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Strategic capabilities, strong organizational skills, and exceptional collaboration are critical to the role.

Position Responsibilities:

Marketing Support:

Develop a strong rapport with internal and external teams through a detailed understanding of all facets within a project, clear and concise communication (written and verbal), and overall level of professionalism. Act as a resource for current information about the status of projects in progress and keep management informed of the same. Manage various planning documents and processes across the Marketing team. Provide support across the marketing team as needed to help ensure that the entire process goes smoothly.Client Management:

In partnership with Marketing Managers, aid in the development of strategic business plans and preparation of omni-channel presentations to an executive-level audience. Assemble and be responsible for weekly completion and distribution of accurate and comprehensive status reports to clients and internal team members. Attend relevant meetings for current projects and provide written call reports pertaining to what was discussed and next steps. Circulate call reports to appropriate internal team members and clients. Ensure agreements, language, and terms are captured in proposals and proper follow-ups are happening/deliverables are on track.Campaign Execution:

Manage all aspects of omni-channel co-op campaigns focusing on digital and social execution, co-op calendar management, reporting, and co-op support. Oversee processes and timing related to digital and social co-op marketing campaigns. Follow up with brand partners to secure signed contracts and enter individual marketing tactics related to brand contracts into the project management platform (Wrike). Partner closely with Assistant Buyers to secure product information.Budget Management:

Provide goal tracking updates and assign appropriate chargeback information to each brand contract and submit to NM finance for invoicing and processing.Analytics & Reporting:

Compile coop campaign reporting from multiple channel owners and secure visuals related to each tactic. Provide co-op reporting and recaps to team members for further insights and distribute reporting to brand partners.Who You Are:

2-5 years of relevant experience in marketing or a related field.Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize, plan, and organize. Must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.Self-starter, self-motivated, and capable of building relationships across teams.Excellent organizational, analytical, and influencing skills.
