35 per week. Hybrid AvailableAttendance on site (on average) – currently one week in four. This frequency may increase as project moves from design to manufacture / construction – Q1 2025.Travel is required on an average bi-weekly basis to visit designers / suppliers.The RoleLead and manage services and mechanical handling design packages for 10 Dock Facility ensuring Requirements are met through the design process;Manage deliverables through the Design process and Technical Governance process to ensure quality and consistency;Integration with other design disciplines to ensure that a coordinated Facility design is delivered.Design of services and mechanical handling equipment through design process with experience of requirements substantiation thereof;Knowledge of services and lifting techniques, processes etc. within a facility based production environment;Design of conventional services and mechanical handling equipment to support production activities, focus on materials handling and flow.RequirementsBPSS Clearance to startEligible for SC ClearanceChartered Status or equivalent (most have this)Experience – 15 years +Preferably mech eng background – though not essentialM&E services design or Mech H Design (unlikely to have both)Experience of design and manufacture / installationManaging multi-disciplinary designExperience of managing design production – ideally in a client rolePreferably experience of working on a nuclear licensed site.
