We are looking to add a Director, Media Planning to our Detroit Carat team. You will join a supportive team and work with a client that sees us as a true partner. You and your team will support one of our largest clients.You will serve in an important leadership role. You will report directly into the SVP Client Solutions and Planning. You will also get to demonstrate your working knowledge of the media space (Traditional and Digital media preferred) and available media research and systems. You will help manage the daily tasks by assuring focus on important client goals and communicating appropriate resource needs to meet ongoing client goals.Responsibilities:Understanding of all media channels and experience coordinating across multiple media disciplines with a heavy focus on TV/CTV/Social/Digital5+ years of experience with upper funnel media awareness campaignsCoordinate with creative agencies on creative assets and accounts needsCoordinate with multi-channel teams to design modern, strategic and thoughtful integrated media plans across a myriad of awareness-based channels (TV, CTV, Video, Social, Programmatic and Audio)Comfort overseeing and communicating directly with clients on questions and media plansHelp evaluate timelines and manage daily deliverablesExperience w/ analyzing competitive landscapes, pulling reports using agency tools and compiling insightsManage a large Media Budget and FlowchartGuide media channel selection and forward think on new opportunitiesQualifications

5+ years of total experience in a large agency setting5+ years of media planning and buying experience in the TV, CTV, Social and digital landscape5+ years of experience with Media Ocean, DDS, Nielsen Ad Intel, Pathmatics, Media Tools, Web Analytics, Ad Servers, Media Research tools3+ years of experience of leading multiple levels of direct reports in a large agency settingUnderstanding of planning sponsorship campaigns on a national levelExperience promoting collaborative relationships with other teamsComfortable working with budgets/numbers and an understanding of mathematical concepts#LI-JK1 #LI-HybridAdditional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $94,000-$152,000. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
