Senior Communications StrategistExpedia Group's Global Marketing team is leading some of the world's most recognized travel brands. We are looking for experienced strategists who can help us build integrated communications platforms across all our brand touchpoints.It is our team's job to ensure our brands and ideas are as relevant and impactful as possible. More specifically, it’s the Senior Planner’s job to ensure our communications are orchestrated in a smart way that ladders up to one holistic brand narrative while also inspiring big bold ways for our brands to break through.What you’ll do:
Combine creativity and effectiveness through strong understanding of audiences, touchpoints and media thinking across paid, owned, earned and shared channelsInspire provocative ways for our brands to show up in the world and to capture consumer attentionMaintain a thorough understanding of our business to facilitate the most effective communications solutions i.e. key barriers, marketing challenges, objectives and strategies, competitive pressures, etc.Craft consumer journeys that demonstrate a thorough knowledge of how our audience spends their time and where we can add valueWork with cross-functional teams to ensure we’re using all of our channels and communication tools to the best of our abilityUse data and insights to inform your approach and influence campaign KPIsManage and help grow future communications planning talent within Expedia GroupWho you are:
6-10 years experience in communications planning, media strategy or similar role at a creatively led organization (agency or brand experience acceptable)Passionate about the ever-changing world of media and able to help solve business problems in a way that straddles the twin pillars of effectiveness and impactA champion of great creative work and an ally to your creative teamsHelping keep everyone inspired & informed about the media & cultural landscapeForever curious about what is happening in the world our brands, and our audiences, live inAble to work in a fast-paced, highly competitive, and constantly evolving categoryResults oriented with outstanding organizational, interpersonal and analytical skillsThe total cash range for this position in Seattle is $155,000.00 to $217,000.00.
