Job SummaryAs the Senior Vice President/Vice President of Marketing, you will lead the sales and marketing team activities to support the growth and expansion of the company’s market presence. Your role encompasses overseeing lead generation, brand presentation on all platforms, including social media channels, websites, and our full online presence, as well as public relations management within our Property Management division.Additionally, you will shape innovative marketing strategies, supervise corporate sales and marketing teams, and ensure consistent branding across all channels. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing strategic marketing, both externally and internally.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all marketing and sales activities, including lead generation, presentations, contract negotiation, and brand presentation.Manage corporate brand strategy, presenting and creating those strategies from initiation to launch.Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.Maintain awareness of the newest technology and trends in the industry and competitors’ activities.Supervise corporate sales and marketing personnel.Coordinate completion of RFPs, negotiate contracts, and oversee market research to analyze effectiveness and track competitors.Collaborate with the Training Department and Property Operations on all sales training and patterns of need for the site teams.Utilize CRMs to track and analyze critical data, manage sales cycle time, and develop key performance indicators for sales performance evaluation.Provide performance feedback and coaching to the sales team, conduct sales meetings, and distribute company sales goals to regional levels.Review shopping reports, identify needs, and work with Property Ops and Training to address gaps.Lead the planning and development of marketing materials, oversee social media and online advertising campaigns, and ensure consistent messaging and branding.Collaborate with operational leaders for regional and company-wide marketing initiatives and monitor and manage online reputation across platforms.Ensure site marketing teams perform regular site visits, stay informed about market trends, and attend industry education conferences.Manage corporate and property marketing expenditures.Develop KPIs and provide relevant reporting to the Management Company team on results of marketing efforts.Manage public relations efforts for the Management Company, including developing and maintaining a market presence for AION, as well as working on crisis management.Qualifications:10+ years of marketing and management experience, with 5+ years in sales.Expertise in designing and implementing sales processes and systems; property management experience required.Interest and experience in identifying, vetting, and implementing new marketing technologies.Strong interpersonal skills, ability to lead and inspire teams, and manage sensitive information with integrity.Ability to clearly articulate and drive excellence through impact.Proficiency in MS Office Suite and willingness to learn new programs.Ability to remain seated for prolonged periods, travel up to 50% of the time, and lift up to fifteen pounds as needed.Prior experience in management and strategic operations, with previous experience in property management required.Demonstrated problem-solving, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities effectively.Analytical skills with previous experience developing strategic marketing plans.CompetenciesCourage – Stepping up to address difficult issues, saying what needs to be said.Decision Quality – Making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.Drives Results – Consistently achieves results, even under tough circumstances.Instills Trust – Gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.Business Insight – Applying knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization’s goals.Strategic Mindsight – Seeing ahead to future possibilities and translating them into breakthrough strategies.Interpersonal Savvy – Relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people.Develops Talent – Developing people to meet both their career goals and the organization’s goals.Nimble Learning – Actively learning through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learning fodder.Plan and Aligns – Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.Builds Effective Teams – Building strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.
